Back in Pittsburgh, our heroes recuperate from their stressful missions. Lesleigh meets Merlin late at night, and he shows a surprising vulnerability to the wolf hunter. Meanwhile, Lena and Lucia go to meet Branch and update him on their activities. On the way, they talk about the happenings at the Fae Court and make a promise to each other—one that comes with immediate and startling revelations. At Louis’ motel, Luther sees some guests, but while some bring excellent news, others have less favorable messages to deliver…
